Mr Doodle, Untitled (From Hammers and Astronauts)

The artist, 2014, whom gifted to his secondary school teacher Private Collection, June 2021, from whom acquired by the present owner.

Sam Cox, known as Mr Doodle, is a illustrator known for his graffiti style artworks. In recent years his work has gained significant recognition, and he was widely reported in the press for covering every inch of his 6-bedroom home in Kent in doodles, such as those in the present example. Recently, the Holburne Museum in Bath hosted the first museum exhibition of his work, named Mr Doodle! Museum Mayhem.
